About
I discovered my passion for dance and movement very early and started classical Ballett and Tap dance classes at the age of 5. At the age of 10 I acquired a R.A.D scholarship in York and went on to study all aspects of dance at the Hamond School in Chester. Finally I finished my 3 year professional dance studies at the Ballett Rambert School London in 1990 where I achieved my international Diploma in dance.
I danced professionally with the Lower Saxony State Ballett in Hannover from 1990 - 2001 and worked with numerous choreographers; Mats Ek, Robert North, Heinz Spoerli, Uwe Scholz to name a few.
After being diagnosed with displacement and arthritis of the hips, I was forced to end my dance career and started my journey with GYROKINESIS® and GYROTONIC® in 2002. I achieved my GYROTONIC® Certification in 2003 and my GYROKINESIS® Certification in 2006 as well as gaining my GYROTONIC® Pre-Trainer title in 2006 and my GYROKINESIS® Pre-Trainer title in 2007. I completed all of my GYROKINESIS® and GYROTONIC® education with Juliu Horvath himself.
I'm a joint owner of Moving Bones Studio in Hannover Germany, where I give weekly GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Personal and group Trainings and conduct Pre-Trainings throughout the year.
