About

Kate is the owner of GYROTONIC® Missoula, in Missoula, Montana, where she lives with her husband and daughter.  She is a certified trainer in both the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods, as well as in specialized equipment. Kate has been teaching the Gyrotonic Pre-Training Course since 2018; she is always exploring further educational courses, primarily under Master Trainer Debra Rose. 

Originally a contemporary modern dancer, now also a choreographer, Kate was first introduced to the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® in 2010. Driven to further enhance her artistry, understanding of the body, and overall strength through a system that honors rhythm and creativity, Kate felt both at home and challenged. Becoming a trainer was the natural step to secure her interest in also serving others. 

Kate engages clients with a wide variety of movement interests and needs: athletes seeking to increase their performance, young dancers deepening their technique, people recovering from joint injuries, and those desiring to simply move through their daily lives with more confidence and ease, flexibility and strength. She is dedicated to making every session the most effective possible for each individual. 

Kate actively continues to grow her circle of Gyrotonic and artistic colleagues worldwide, while supporting Gyrotonic Missoula in its mission to be a hub for the Gyrotonic work in the region.
