About
Heather Doyle (she/her) is a lifelong dancer, self-described movement nerd, and a Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis instructor since 2011. Through extensive study in many movement traditions ranging from concert dance, somatics and social dance, Heather has learned to trust in the power and wisdom of each of our bodies/minds to be our best teachers. Heather considers it a privilege to accompany clients on each of their individual path to wellness, honoring the different goals and learning styles each person brings to their Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis practice. She is committed to guiding clients to greater movement expansion and body awareness through a body-positive, energetic and affirming teaching approach. When not in the studio, Heather leads class as an artist educator with Bodywise Dance, studies taiji/qigong at Dragongate DC with Sifu Alexander King, and works towards her acupuncture degree at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine and takes long walks through the woods with her family.
