About

Michelle Contrino, is a graduate from Arizona State University (BA Dance Performance) and Texas Woman’s University (MFA Dance Performance and Pedagogy), is a seasoned National and International performer, instructor, and choreographer. Michelle has worked as a professional dancer for over 30 years, performing on various luxury cruise lines, in regional and national commercials, music videos, and industrials, as well as performing with Epiphany Dance Company and professional collaborative artists. She has served as an instructor and choreographer on the faculty at the School of Nashville Ballet, Bella Vita Arts Tuscan Summer Dance Intensive in Italy, Texas Woman’s University, University of North Texas, North Central Texas College, and Tarrant County College. She has been a guest artist for Springfield Ballet and Perpetual Motion Dance Company. During her thirteen years as a faculty member at The Jeannine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre & Dance at Southeast Missouri State University, Michelle has choreographed eleven main-stage concert dance works, fifteen main stage musicals, performed in the musical ‘Nunsense’, and performed in two collaborative concerts with music and theater faculty in The Holland College of Arts and Media; ‘In Essence’ and ‘Things We Always Wanted to Perform.’ Michelle is a certified GYROTONIC ® instructor and a certified licensed BeMoved ® instructor.
