GYROTONIC® Applications For Equestrians

ESJ Iida

May 06, 2025 - May 09, 2025

SPRING 2024 COURSE POSTPONED UNTIL 2025. ACTUAL DATES IN 2025 TBD.

GYROTONIC® Applications for Equestrians Course Special Edition! Master Trainer Michelle Spinner and renowned Dressage coach and author of "Balance in Movement" Susanne von Dietze are teaming up for a unique opportunity to study the GYROTONIC® Expansion System as it relates to horse riding both in the studio and in the ring!

This course will take place over 4 days in Nagano, Japan at the Nihon Trekking facility in Iida. There is a hotel and restaurant on site.

The GYROTONIC® Applications for Equestrians Course is for the Certified GYROTONIC® Instructor who wishes to work more effectively with an equestrian clientele. Over three intensive days, we will practice doing and teaching GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® exercises off the horse that will help horse riders to perform better when mounted - exercises that can ultimately improve the way riders communicate with their horses and help keep their bodies healthy for riding. Attendees will learn about common riding goals and pitfalls, and how to design private sessions and classes to address them.

In this special edition of the course, additional time will be allocated to experience the work on horseback. These special sessions in the ring will be taught by Susanne von Dietze.

All Certified GYROTONIC® Instructors are welcome. A familiarity with horse-riding is a plus, but it is not a requirement to attend the course. All participants will receive a course manual.

This course is approved by Juliu Horvath as a Certified Trainer Update course.

4 consecutive days tentatively scheduled for Monday, May 27 through Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Tuition: $700 + studio and materials fee + daily riding experience.

(studio and materials fee plus cost of daily riding experience to be determined)
